I want to publicly thank Mundo and the entire 407 Electric team for the outstanding work they performed at my home.
We experienced a serious electrical emergency when our electrical panel burned, creating a potentially dangerous situation and leaving us without power. Mundo responded immediately, assessed the damage, and took charge of the entire process.
During his investigation, he discovered that the grounding connection from the utility service was not properly secured. He worked closely with KUA to identify and resolve the issues. As part of the corrective actions, KUA replaced the main electrical service wires from the transformer to the house, ensuring a safe and reliable electrical supply.
Mundo replaced the damaged electrical panels, upgraded our electrical service to 200 amps, and coordinated with KUA to ensure the necessary utility work was completed promptly. What impressed me most was his commitment to quality and safety. After KUA completed their work, Mundo performed a second inspection of the entire system to verify that both the utility-side repairs and his own installation were completed correctly and operating safely. That level of dedication and professionalism gave my family great peace of mind.
Throughout the process, Mundo kept us informed, answered all our questions, and made sure everything was operating properly before the project was considered complete. He even corrected additional electrical issues at no extra charge.
It is rare to find a contractor who is so responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and committed to customer safety and satisfaction. I highly recommend 407 Electric to anyone in need of electrical services.

This was our second time using Mundo of 407 Electric and he was just as great! Super friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. We had a lightning storm that messed with some of our breakers tripping and he was able to figure everything out and get it working again fast. We also had him replace two outside lights that were damaged by falling tree branches and replace a noisy ceiling fan. I hate that I'm sure we'll have more random electrical problems in the future, but I'm so happy to at least know that Mundo is just a phone call away!

Why do my lights flicker?
The most common reason is loose wire connections.
What is a GFCI?
Basically a safety device outlet or circuit breaker that protects you from electrical shock in areas such as Kitchen,Bathrooms, outdoor,and garage/laundry rooms.
Can my Handyman do electrical work?
Unfortunately, No. For your safety by law only licensed electricians are allowed to perform electrical work. Do you go to your mechanic for dental care? The same rule applies here. Don’t risk you or your family's safety to save a buck or two!
Why is my circuit breaker tripping?
Two main reasons are an electrical wiring issue or a defective circuit breaker/devices.
Do we need a permit for electrical work?
It depends on the scope of work. Most common repairs and lighting installation do not require permitting. Tasks such as Panel replacement and new circuit wiring most likely require permits that we will handle for you.
Is my Electrical system safe?
Depending on the age and usage your electrical system should be checked at least once a year just to ensure your electrical system is safe.
What are Recalled / Dangerous electrical panels?
